PFAS Information
The following link is a searchable website that lists the approved devices in California for Point of Use (POU)/Point of Entry (POE) devices for water treatment:
Residential Water Treatment Devices | California State Water Resources Control Board.
The devices on the website have been certified under NSF/ANSI 53 (for devices that use GAC, IX, or other adsorptive media) or NSF/ANSI 58 (for reverse osmosis devices) for PFAS treatment. Users can select a device that has been certified either PFOA, PFOS, or total PFAS. Some devices will have multiple certifications. The total PFAS certification includes more compounds but it was recently adopted so it has fewer devices available.
